In a pre-Frankfurt Motor Show announcement, Mercedes-Benz revealed its latest gasoline hybrid, the Vision (experimental/concept) S 500 Plug-in, a high-performance luxury sedan claimed to achieve a combined fuel consumption of 3.2 L/100 km and CO2 emissions of only 74 g/km in the NEDC cycle.
